In an industrial area of Worcestershire, within the town of Stourport-on-Severn, a newly created company
began production of mechanical control cables for the automotive and defence sectors.

 Although names and ownership evolved over time, the foundation of innovation and engineering excellence
was laid.

Like much of the automotive industry in the UK at that time, the site’s focus changed to production of
components to support production of aircraft and other defence equipment during the period to 1945.

The site became known in the industry as an innovator of mechanical cables for the passenger car and
private / commercial airliner industry, with unique and patented components throughout its portfolio.

Outgrowing its original facility in Worcester Road, the company relocated to Baldwin Road, Stourport-onSevern.

This move enabled larger-scale production, setting the stage for future growth.

 Became a trusted original equipment supplier (OES) for major automotive manufacturers, including Nissan,
Ford, Toyota, and Honda.
 Established itself as a full system supplier partner in the global automotive supply chain, providing
solutions from initial contact to volume production and beyond.

Secured new global vehicle contracts with Ford, expanding supply to their automotive facilities in the USA.

Diversified into advanced components like mechanical assemblies, pedals, and winches, alongside
mechanical cable production.

Upgraded facilities with steel stamping and polymer injection moulding technologies to meet internal
facility and OEM direct automotive requirements.

Introduced gearshift mechanisms and gained new partnerships with 1st and 2nd tier automotive
customers.

Acquired by Remsons Holdings Ltd in 2020, marking a new era of growth.

Rebranded as Remsons Automotive Limited in 2023, unifying its identity under the global Remsons brand
and embracing its future as a leader in innovation and excellence.
